Table tipping has to be one of the most ridiculous experiments ever. For all we know it could well be 'spirits' but more likely its the people taking part unconciously doing it. I really dislike these silly unfounded types of parlour tricks.

Idometer effect? Ive heard of that but I have no idea what it is.
But, I must say, I agree with Rosie and Lifesmate....more vigils, less Derek and less table tipping/glass pushing ;D ;D

Table tipping is the worst thing MH could have introduced along with the awful ouija board.
I believe that ALL events while these experiments are taking place are the crew moving them...all be it unconciously.
Not sure about the claim that Karl and co are deliberately doing it but its always a possibility.

Thats the whole problem with watching table tipping on telly.....we're not there, participating in it, so we dont know if anyone is moving the table or not.
We just have to take their word for it that they arent cheating....lol

*We just have to take their word for it that they arent cheating*
That is the key...we have to take their word for it.
Maybe if MH change the format just a bit and eliminate all these futile experiments then maybe their credibility will rise again. The first and second series made the show and maybe getting back to basics may be the way to go.

I totally agree with you....back when the show first started, they concentrated on vigils and trying to catch a ghost on camera
Now, it seems to be all about parlour tricks....although, saying that, at least they trying new things. It might have got a bit stale if they stuck to the same format throughout the whole of the series'

Agree with the trying of new things but not this rubbish. Maybe more trigger objects. Spend more time on a room where activity seems to be more prevalent. I enjoyed the vigils even when nothing happened.
