joey I was refering only to ghost hunters not mh..but I respect where you are coming from. But I feel as in the matter of the Ghost Hunters...not to have a good team..means your not going to have a good hunt.
I know you weren't talking about MHed. I was comparing the two. Didn't I read someone say you can't compare the two. They are both paranormal investigating shows. One does it for profit, the other one does it for the love of it.
I've given my reasons why I feel Ghost Hunters is miles better and why MHed is put to shame by it. Yet you still haven't given good reason as to why you feel Ghost Hunters is bad and why you feel they don't have a good team.
You say they don't get on. Well neither does Yvette and Derek apprently yet you don't seem to be putting MHed down for having a bad team.
Not only this but they rely on the Mediums WAY to much. They listen to what David has to say as if its law. Like on the Queen Mary when whats his name was passing out in that room with Karl and Stu. Karl saying "I wish David was here, this could be past life recretion.". Erm, excuse me but that sounds like your a believer to me, not a sceptic. How do we know past lifes excist, we don't. So why were you talking about it like it was fact. Is it not possible he could of fainted?
The Queen Mary episodes were infact, the worst episodes in a long time.
When they went down into the depths of the ship. They got excited, especially Richard as he always does. By the bangs, ooo its getting louder, ooo it just stopped all of a sudden, how wierd.
NO. Your on a ship of which part is deep under water. Your gonna get vibrations down there from outside. Things will bag against the hull. sound travels alot further underwater. It could be any number of things, noise from passing ships etc etc. During the war and maybe on todays submarines, when they go to silent running, everyone has to keep quite. Sometimes even standing still. Why? Well 'cause if a ship or another submarine is near by, the sonar man WILL be able to hear any movement if it causes enough vibration. And if the sound is loud enough even the whole crew would hear it. They could even hear fish down there to, such as Whales etc.
Where as Ghost Hunters is a group of people who have their day job. Then do ghost hunting at night.
Lets take episode 5 as an example. They bring along a guy to watch the monitors. Instead of MHed style, they have no Medium (thank God for that), and its done as a fly on the wall. The station doesn't direct them. They do it how they normally investigate. They find nothing, you see nothing (yes I know MHed use to be like that but now they ain't. They seem to find something ever episode now).
Anyway, so they bring this guy along, Brian to watch the monitors. At one point he's not there and they get pissed 'cause he's wondered off and isn't doing his job. So they get a bit pissed. We see all this, they don't cut it out. We see that nothing is perfect. We see 2 of the crew pulling a MHed, seeing something and legging it. After which they are moaned at by the 2 founders. Explaining it doesn't look professional running away. If you did that in someones house, how would it look. Not only this, but how do you expect to find something if you run away. Then next time they are there or on the same investigation (they go there for 3 days overall to check. As they believered it was a good enough place. MHed never do this apart from the American one which was one big holiday and the Live shows, which they milk for all the money they can get).
Anyway, so those two founder guys check out the area where the other 2 ran from. Something popped up on the thermal camera. A heat source. But instead of just putting it down to paranormal and Yvette style just saying "how wierd" and leaving it at that. Jason, walks over to it, to check. It turned out to be a window and was just a reflection.
Anyway. So eventually when looking back on the footage of the first night they were there. They find an amazing clip. Which can be found here
www.the-atlantic-paranormal-society.com/ghosthuntershome.htmlwww.the-atlantic-paranormal-society.com/video/ESP.wmvwww.the-atlantic-paranormal-society.com/video/ESPhq.wmvThis is the reason they go back. Now instead of leaving it, like MHed would. And milking this clip to make more money (remember they don't make any money from their investigations). They go back for another 2 days. Not only this but they try to explain what it could be. Could it be someone messing about. Could it be someone in a cloak. So they find the area it was in. Find a way of climbing up which makes it possible someone was messing about. Then they get one of the members to put on a sheet and run. But they realise you can't run as fast as the object on the clip. As you can't see where your going. This clip also corrisponse with what people have seen up there. A dark figure walking back and forth.
They took the footage off to be cleaned up but they were only able to lighten it. One of the founders was a bit disappointed with that but still. And thats it. They can't explain what it is, but stuck it up on their site to let us decide.
Oh yes. Not only this but they catch a few 'orbs', but as Jason said "that doesn't excite me". It could be anything, dust, insects etc etc.
If this had been a MHed episode. All we would of got was, knocking. And stupid table tipping in a cell and some of that stupid glass thang. If ghosts need your 'energys' to move the bloody table and/or glass. Then how the bloody hell to they move other things on their own then. How do they turn the TV on and off, if you believe a spirit does it. How do they open and close doors. Etc etc.
This episode puts MHed to shame.
