if there is nothing else and this is it, please help me understand. my 14 year old nephew got hit on friday night by a bmw going 60mph. he was thrown up onto the bonnet and then through the windscreen back out and thrown down the road. when the police got there he was awake but not quite with it and covered in blood. the car was witten off and the police said he would not make it to the hospital so did the doctors, on checking, scaning and x-raying him he was fine , nothing broken and only a cut on the back of his head and half the road stuck on his back (cheese grater). so how is he still alive. someone or something must have been looking after him and you can not tell me otherwise!

Hi Isis
Welcome to the Forum.
I would say that that was the work of God noone or anything else, as he is the only one who could of stopped your nephew from dying in my opinion. God is Great and he is looking after your nephew and you and your family and everyone. God works in mysterious ways and he was definately with your nephew on that particular day.

awwww that is great news that he survived isis. I think that there is' something ' and/or a guardian angel, perhaps was looking after him. i believe that angels do look out for you and will protect you and i think that this may of been the case with your nephew. there is a whole universe out there , that we dont yet understand. and when things like this happens it makes us all stop and think and im pleased that your nephew wasnt injured and i wish him well isis , by the way welcome hun to the forum, nice to have you here xxx

God certainly works in mysterious ways, by letting many many people die every year. Yes God truely is great. Yep, you guessed it, I don't believe in God either Sorry, couldn't resist on posting. Great that your nephew survived though. My brother in law also survived getting knocked over and only came out with a broken leg. But it was 'cause he was drunk, so, oddly enough, it was the drink that saved him. The fact he was so relaxed and his body wasn't tense, the doctors say, is the reason he survived.

Should of known you wouldn't be able to resist posting after that comment, but I am not going to argue about religion with you, but what I will say is God gave us all free will.

Not a believer in divine intervention or more people would be saved surely but so happy for your nephews luck.
This is not the time to have a religious debate so enjoy the fact that your nephew is alive and whatever you all believe helped him embrace it.
