everyone, i thought i would tell you about my time at MHL Liverpool.
It started off by catching the train from Wokingham down to Lymington to meet Julie(Angel 2). It was lovely to see her again, and we were soon nattering away mainly about Karl of course! . The train from Lymington to Brockenhurst was cancelled, but luckily a taxi came to pick us up from the station and got us to Brockenhurst just in time to catch the connecting train to Crewe, we then nattered away again for about 4 hours until we changed trains at Crewe and eventually arrived at Liverpool Lime Street at 4.00pm. We then got a taxi to the Travel Inn, checked in and dumped our cases in our room, and then travelled back into the city centre to do a bit of shopping. There werent many shops open but Julie and i still managed to spend a fair amount of money!!. It was great!!! We then went to an Italian restaurant and had chicken followed by a really wicked chocolate brownie and ice cream.( We were trying to build up our strength for meeting Karl the next day!! )
On saturday morning we travelled to the hub to meet, Alicecoopersgirl and her husband, Emma-Lou and Melz. It was lovely to meet them, we had a good natter outside the hub and then met up with Jaffacookies and her mum. We all decided to go and have a drink and something to eat at a nearby pub, but unforunately, they couldnt serve us as none of the staff had arrived!! We walked to the Strand shopping centre and had a sandwich instead. We then met up with Jacks, Emma, Neil, Loz and her sister Stace in McDonalds. It was lovely to see everyone again. We then walked to another pub and had a drink, whilst Emma was waiting for Karl to call her about a forum meeting. This gave me an opportunity to have a glass of wine, to give me some courage to talk to Karl should we meet up with him. After about five minutes we were told that Karl had contacted Emma and that we were all meeting Karl around the side of the hub. We all arrived and Karl soon appeared, he started to greet everyone by hugging and kissing them all, bless him. Julie and i had some hugs and kisses and lots of piccies, although the ones of me are awful again , as i either look really nervous or i have that silly grin on my face again!! . It was fantastic meeting Karl again, he was so lovely and extremely funny, he had us all in stitches.
After meeting Karl we said our goodbyes to Melz and Emma-Lou, it was lovely to meet them both. We then all walked to a nearby pub and had something to eat before walking back to the hub to queue up ready for MHL. Inside the hub was fantastic, Karl was extremely funny during AAA and had everyone in stitches again!! . MHL was very exciting and enjoyable. After the show we met Richard Felix, Jamie Darling and Matthew Smith who all signed mine and Julies Most Haunted Book. We then said our goodbyes to Jacks, Emma, Neil, Loz and Stace and made our way out of the hub. We saw Lisa (Alicecoopersgirl) and her husband Tim outside and said our goodbyes to them also. Lisa's friends very kindly gave Julie and i a lift back to our Travel Inn as they were staying there too.
Julie and i got back to the Travel Inn, we bought some minstrels and crisps from the vending machine and had a nice cuppa soup too. I had fallen asleep within minutes, as it had a been long, tiring but really fantastic day.
The next morning we packed our things got a taxi to Liverpool Lime Street station and said our goodbyes to Liverpool. Julie and i travelled home on the train, nattering all the way and going back over a truly fantastic weekend.
My MHL Liverpool experience was fantastic, it was so lovely to meet the gorgeousl Karl again, and to meet so many lovely forum members, it was really fantastic and i wish we could do it all again tomorrow!!
I would also like to thank Julie for a fantastic weekend, we get on so well and had so many giggles it was fantastic, thanks again Julie.xxxxx
