Q1. You did not start your spiritual journey until later in your life and its an amazing journey could you tell us about your first experiences ?
I actually had my first experiences as a little boy, but they were discouraged by my grandmother, probably because most of them happened around her house! I used to chat to my grandfather. As far as I was concerned, he just visited me at night. Later in life, my first experience was of an old lady talking to me in the corridor of the hospital when I was ill. She appeared and told me to go back into my body, it was not my time to die.
Q2. You are famous for being a fantastic medium and obviously your great work on most haunted, how are you enjoying the live shows ?
I love the live shows for two main reasons - The audience; it's great to have them there and part of it all and to meet fans after the show. It's amazing how far people come to see us and their stories about there own experiences. The second is the crew; I know it's an old cliché, but we really are like a great big family. At the last live show in Blackpool we all stayed in chalets at Pontins. It was great fun as well as being supported by people who are so professional, those of us on stage never have to think about anything other than doing our stuff, everything else is taken care of.
Q3. Have you ever had a reading from another famous medium ?
No. If I do have one, I would go to somebody who doesn't know me.
Q4. If you could speak to anyone famous that has passed over who would you like it to be ?
Galileo. It is inspiring how he could turn ideas into reality. So many of us have the thoughts. How many of us do anything with them? Creativity is one of our greatest divine gifts. Here was a man who seemed to never stop!
Q5. If you could have three people around for tea (passed or alive) who would they be and why ?
Nigella Lawson to make the cakes. Yvette Fielding to make me laugh and to bring a bit of sauce to the table and the Dalai Lama to add grace and humor - and all of them for their love of life and all it has to offer.
Q6. What does your family think of your gift, I bet there really proud of your achievements ?
They are proud, but we are a very straight forward family. I am what I always was - a Son, a Brother and an Uncle!
Q7. You have studied astrology, do lectures in it and do astrology columns for magazines, Reiki Healing and Tarot card reading, past life regression and mediumship. Do you have any spare time for hobbies ? If so what do you do to relax ?
Good question! I walk on the beach near my home. I visit my friends and listen to them moan about how they never see me!
Q8. How are you coping with your fame and well, being a sex symbol ? I have read many post on living forum and on your fans sites, they adore you !!!
I am getting recognized more which is a little odd, but people are very nice and it is good to know there are so many people interested in spiritual subjects. As for being a sex symbol - that is news to me!
Q9. What is the most scariest places that you have been to on Most haunted and why ?
It has to be Pendle Hill. I know there are those that have their doubts about the crying incident, but let me assure you what you saw was what you got ! It terrified me watching it back. I was completely unawares of what happened. Can you imagine seeing video of yourself back and not remembering anything about it ? Then add just what was happening ! I didn't sleep for a couple of days, and I had to work very hard at re-enforcing my protection and trying to make sense of it all.
Q10. Is there anything new for 2005, books, shows etc ?
More Most Haunted, maintaining the writing in NOW and Metro. Hopefully a book closer to completion and as for a show - it is something I am in negotiations about, it's just finding the right format that seems to be holding me back !
