There was an aweful minning accident here in West Virginia,USA.Early Monday morning on January 2nd,lightning struck a mine shaft and trapped 13 miners. It was a very long and stressful week for us over here.We all had hope and prayers that those 13 miners would be found alive.Yep hope was growing dim when they found a body. The coal car was empty,so we kept hope...but our hope was shattered when we discovered the bodys of 11 other miners and one soul surviver in critical condition. Young Randell McColy, age 27, was rushed to the hospital. We thank God for that one tiny miracle...yet we mourn the loss of our 12 fallen men. Please keep the families of these brave souls in your prayers... Alva Martin Bennett- age 51 Jim Bennett- age 61 Jerry Groves- age 56 George Junior Hamner- age 54 Terry Helms- age 50 David Lewis- age 28 Martin Toler- age 51 Fred Ware, Jr.- age 58 Jack Weaver- age 51 Marshall Winans- age 50 Thomas P. Anderson- age 39 Jesse L. Jones- age 44 May they rest in peace..
