You know the glass crap that they do on MHed. If its apprently spirits moving the glass, why would they need to polish the table before hand? Would the spirit not be able to move the glass anyway? Would the spirit be able to slightly lift the glass off the table only a touch so it moves really easy?

I hate glass divination...too much of it could be put down to involuntary movement...In my opinion it doesn't really count as evidence...but thats just me

Everyone knows...or should...that the glass divination and ouija are nothing more than parlour games. In no way are they a way of communication with the dead. The crew are moving the glass everytime even if they believe they are not.
The clip....they polished the table.Well they would to help the glass move easier.Does not imply anything else.
Why they use these ridiculous methods is beyond me. If a spirit can move something then nobody else is needed. It will do it anyway. Ditch these stupid games and do some real investigating.

Agreed. Although I would suggest why polish the table in the first place. Even if its hard for the glass to move, if a spirit is moving it (no I don't believe it, I know its a parlour game ) then surely that spirit would be able to move the glass whether the table is polished or not. Polishing it just makes it more easy to move. Funny thing is, Ciaran discounted this ages ago on an episode as basically a parlour game (although he didn't say that). Due to his experiment. They had their eyes closed so the spirit suddenly couldn't spell anything. Suddenly when their eyes were opening, the spirit could spell again. Any form of table tipping is bad to. As this has been a magicians trick for YEARS. There is one infamous magacian, can't remember his name, that still does the table tipping trick, in restaruants with people close to him and its really effective. Funny thing is, sometimes MHed put clothes on the tables. In an attempt to show viewers at home they are trying to cut out fraud. The theory being if someone is moving the table with their figures then your see the clothe move. However, part of the table tipping illusion is to have a clothe on the table to hide what your really doing.

I had always been very dubious about glass divination and hadnt ever really believed it until a couple of weeks back - I thought that it was down to unconscious involuntary movements of the team. I went to an overnight investigation where we tried glass divination and initally I thought 'oh no' there was about 4 or 5 of us and we sat around and the second we placed the very tips of our fingers on the glass and it moved so strongly - its difficult to describe but i know certainly that no-one in the group was pushing the glass, Im certainly not gullable and know what I experienced I always keep an open mind and think that until I experience something I cant comment really. Im not saying what it was that we experienced cos I dont know - all I know is that no-one pushed the glass in the group.

No offence but its called unconsious movement 'cause you aren't aware your doing it. And again its a very old parlour trick. Believe me, the only thing pushing your glass was either yourself unconsiouly or someone else unconsiously.
