This may sound a like a silly question, but I have only recently started to watch MH and MHL as I am not really a stong believer in ghosts and have not seen many all the way through. I was wondering if Karl and the crew took part in the investigations in the earlier MHL as when I taped the MHL that came on at 1 am in the morning after MHL on each night they didn't seem to feature in the parts they showed, except the one called pendle hell (which I thought was brill). (Not sure where the others were filmed but one of them was about Matthew Hopkins and it was the Easter show and the other was an Halloween show.

Karl doesn't really appear much in the first two Most Haunted Live DVDs as far as I can recall... they were far more behind the camera then than they are now. He's in the special episode about how a MHL is put together though, drinking hot chocolate! Oh, wait, he does rescue Derek from a few posessions quite often in the DVD with Dick Turpin, and the one they did in Stratford... that's on the 2nd release I think. Not sure how useful I'm being lol! The DVD that has just come out with Pendle Hell, Blackpool etc on has features Karl a lot more! Yay!

The first MHL's were the best for content.
We had more experiments and no table tipping and ouija for a start and Matthew got to actually speak.
