SPOOKED OUT BY TV SHOW EXPERIENCES

THREE years as the face of Most Haunted Live have forced ``sceptical scientist'' Dr David Bull to re-think his views on the paranormal.
The Crossharbour resident, who announced on Halloween live on air that he was leaving the show, says he has witnessed too many spooky events to dismiss the existence of ghosts.
Speaking to The Wharf following his departure from the cult show, David said: ``I definitely think there is something in it.
``I remember when I was out on location on one live show and I swear I saw three ghosts.
``Granted, it was 4.30am and I was locked in a pitch-black attic, but I was really frightened.

``I know that in that sort of situation, when you are naturally scared anyway, the mind is moresusceptible to freaking itself out, but I can remember very well what I saw and felt.''
However, it was the mediums - the people who communicate with ghosts - that freaked David out the most.
``There are just too many weird coincidences,'' he said. ``I was speaking to one medium before one of the shows and he told me some very distinct details about a friend of mine who had died of a genetic disease, things he could not possibly have known.
``It was extraordinary, particularly when he told me what music he heard playing in the background when he was speaking to my friend's ghost.
``I went straight to the guy's father and he confirmed that the song was his favourite and he used to play it all the time.''
David's departure from Living TV's Most Haunted Live quickly follows that of medium Derek Acorah, who made his final appearance on theshow alongside David on October 31, when the team were in east London trying to contact Jack the Ripper. David said to the camera: ``Derek is leaving Most Haunted tonight, and this is also my 35th and final show.''
``It brought a huge gasp from the crew and the audience,'' said David, who had only discussed his decision with the channel controller. ``I was amazed at the reaction. These are really hardened TV types, but they all came up to me and said some really lovely things at the end.
``I am proud of what I have done on the show, and feel partly responsible for helping it achieve the cult status it now enjoys. I feel that you have to leave something at it's peak, which is what I felt I had achieved at Most Haunted Live.
``I didn't feel I could take the show any further, so it's time to do something else
