Hey everyone!
First of all, Emma and anyone else who was involved - thank you SO SO SO much for my lovely card signed by the crew - it was a fabulous surprise! I'd actually left hospital but they sent it out to me (aren't they kind?!). It really cheered me up, and was very kind. I can't thank you enough! Also, thank you for the messages on the post in thoughts and prayers, I printed them all out and took them into hospital with me!
I'm not feeling too bad. Very very tired as I didn't sleep at all in hospital, not even after the anaesthetic (think I should get my money back :lmao: ) and sore as I have a big scar up my tummy done up with these very strange staple things and everytime I giggle which is quite often as I'm a terrible giggler or sneeze it hurts like crazy!
My operation went very well. I'm not sure if anyone knew what it was for - well, I had severe Ulcerative Colitis which made my colon get very inflamed and bleed and I pretty much had permanent diarrhoea and was just very weak and it was ruining my life. I was so beefed up with steroids that made me put on loads of weight which made me look really healthy lol. So they decided to take my colon out so I now have what is known as an ileostomy or stoma. It's going to take quite a bit of getting used to, but already it's so much better than being stuck on the toilet.
Well, I'm feeling jolly wobbly, so I'll be off before I type something very rambly and boring. Hope everyone is well and looking foward to a lovely Christmas!
Lots of love and jazz!
