www.livingtv.co.uk/mosthauntedCastle Garth, Newcastle-upon-Tyne Built between 1168 and 1178 by Henry 2nd Paranormal activity: At the ticket office, a man was recently slapped in the neck by an unseen han. But the red handprint was there for all to see. In the Museum Room, the "backpacker" has been seen - a man who looks like he's wearing a pack moves from this room to the Queen's Chamber but doesn't come out. In the Queen's Chamber the apparition of a woman has been sensed here. In the Mezzanine Chamber, people have experienced odd, sudden headaches, figures have been spotted moving, lights have been seen coming down the stairs and the temperatures fluctuate wildly. In the Galleries, footsteps have been heard pacing around the galleries and cameras often drain here and switch off automatically. In the Great Hall, strange mists have been spotted as has a misty figure, odd light anomalies and the sound of hammering on the door has been heard. In the Garrison Room, lights follow people around the room, one person claimed there were three people standing in the room but four shadows and a woman has also been seen here. In the Well Room, orbs have been caught on camera since 1910 The sound of chanting has been recorded in the chapel, and the dragging of metal on stone has also been heard.
